Treatments, photos, and a tidier flock
This one is mostly you. Nearly everything below started as a note sent through the "Report a bug" button — thank you for every one of them. Here's what changed.
New
A page for every treatment
Tap any treatment — from the Health tab or a bird's profile — to see the whole course, add notes as it goes, record how it turned out, and mark it complete. Finishing early restarts the withdrawal period from that day, and a whole-flock treatment closes for every bird at once.
Active treatments on your dashboard
Each flock card now shows who is being treated, with what, and which day of the course you are on.
Photos on history events
Add a photo when you log an event — first egg, a new roost, a bumblefoot check — and tap it later to see it full size.
Brooder heat guide
If a flock has chicks under eight weeks old, its dashboard card suggests a brooder temperature for their age and lets you know when the heat can usually come off.
Coop space check
Add your coop and run square footage in Settings → Shelter, and your dashboard will quietly flag a flock that's getting tight. Nothing shows until you enter a size.
Better notes in the Apothecary
Long instructions are easier to read: start a line with "- " for a bullet or "1. " for a step, and wrap words in **double asterisks** for bold. Medications also have a spot for the manufacturer's website.
Improved
Flock counts that add up
Birds you've marked deceased, rehomed, sold, or culled no longer count toward a flock's total. They're still there under "Show archived birds" whenever you want them.
Bird and laying totals on every flock
The top of each flock page now shows how many birds are in it and how many are laying.
Accurate integration counts
A bird that's archived or sitting in the recycle bin no longer counts toward "birds integrating."
Easier on the eyes in dark mode
A cream version of the logo for dark backgrounds, and a clearer highlight on whichever field you are typing in.
Delete account moved to the bottom of Settings
It's still there when you need it, just no longer the first thing you see.
Fixed
"Send it" was hidden on iPhone
The bottom menu could cover the button on the "Report a bug" form. It now opens above everything.
Behind the scenes
Tighter photo security
Every photo upload is checked before it is stored, and each account can only ever reach its own photos.
